It works by increasing incretin activity, which helps the body release more insulin when blood sugar is high and reduce excess glucose production, supporting better blood glucose control.

LIGLIP-E is a combination antidiabetic medicine used to help manage type 2 diabetes mellitus. Linagliptin helps increase insulin release and reduce glucagon activity, while empagliflozin helps remove excess glucose through urine. Together, they provide complementary blood glucose control through two different mechanisms of action.
